How to make your lampshade look like new?

Firstly, old canvas lampshade can be dyed, for example, by the use of ordinary acrylic paints. It should be borne in mind, however, that too thick a layer of paint will reduce the light flow through the lampshade. Secondly, it can be trimmed. A lampshade entirely trimmed with a delicate lace looks wonderful. When the light is switched on, there is a beautiful contrast between the light coming from the light bulb and the lace. The lampshade does not always need to be fully embellished. Sometimes it looks nice when only its rim is decorated. Beads or ribbons can be used to this end. Crystal beads hanging from the lampshade look exquisite, as they cast beautiful reflections on the wall.
